People are important, people are precious and ALL People deserve to be treated with respect.

The NEW way of selling, is all about CARING, COMPASSION & EMPATHY.

People are very smart and truly have access to everything they need to make an informed purchase on the internet. I am one of those people who love to buy online because I don't always enjoy the interaction with the sales person.

I remember a time when I needed to buy a microphone for a project I was doing - due in 2 day of course and the experience with the sales person was so awful, I left without buying. I was actually upset and ended up driving 10 minutes to another store where I purchased the same thing I was just looking at.

How much of our purchases are about the product and how much is about Feeling Good about the purchase.

Pay attention - the next time you talk with a sales person ask yourself how you are feeling and pay attention to what you are thinking about.

- Do you have more questions or less... A good sales person will bring up more questions in your mind because you have the knowing that they genuinely want to help you.

- Are you getting more or less excited as you interact... If the product is right but you start to feel less excited - you are not having a good sales interaction.

- Did you learn something? You need to feel empowered after interacting with other people and if you do than that sales person truly cared.

As a sales person myself I have made more money when I wasn't trying to make a sale. I noticed that when I allowed my natural caring gene to lead the way I made more sales, effortlessly and honestly than ever before.

Remember people love to buy so you just need to find the right product.

Customer Service and Sales are linked - they are built from the same mold and when combined create Sales Magic.

Why... because sales is only the completion of the customer's experience - it is one step (a critical step) in the service we offer as sales people.

Use your heart, truly care about what you are doing because you have something of value that people need to know about. Like the Care Bears - they work together, they share and they care!
