When I speak about rape I am not talking about a stranger throwing you in the bushes type of rape. I'm talking about what the authorities call date rape. Date rape is when you may think you're ready, you're getting hot and steamy and right before the act is consummated you get second thoughts. You decide maybe this isn't for you, and you feel that you are not ready, but the guy doesn't want to stop. You know you have said no and you think maybe he hasn't heard clearly so you start to struggle to get his attention. Now the situation has gotten scary. Nobody wants to go through this situation, so the best remedy ties into my first part of this message which is be sure you get to know your date before he can step foot in your dwelling. The same goes for you going into his. That cuts down on a lot of mixed messages that may be being sent. Plan your dates they don't have to be boring. In your mind know you're going A,B,C,D and if you want to alter the plan that's fine, but at least you have an idea of what you wanted to do. Prayerfully let's go to your place or my place won't come into play.
