Festive Outfits: Christmas Eve and Christmas Night

No doubt you're already looking towards your outfits for this festive season. With so many parties, events, quick drinks and big nights out; organising a killer combination for every one is a nightmare! From the comfortable and sophisticated daywear to the exciting chances to pull off some festive style when the sun sets, it's a thrilling time to hit the high street.

Christmas Eve is a glamorous night of suspense, tension and thrill. Going out for drinks before the heyday of the following morning is vital and whilst it's a chance to relax when you've finished all the wrapping, you still want to look your best.

Resist the urge to go gimmicky, amidst all the Santa hats and reindeer jumpers it's hard to stand out. Embrace your glamorous festive side by combining black with red and gold.

Getting your hands on some sparkly red heels will go a long way to bringing some glam to your Christmas outfit. Ted Baker's sparkly red line look like they come straight from the Christmas tree itself. Remember not to go too high with your heels this season; you want to be able to walk at the end of the night. Waking up with sore feet can put a dampener on your day! Four-inch heels are perfect.

For Ultimate comfort try and get your hands on Office's sparkly wedge bow fronted shoe.
All the glam but with the security and comfort of a wedge allowing you to dance all night!

As you know, the right accessories can make or break an outfit. A gold sequin clutch will look great against a black cocktail dress. Pick it up from Jigsaw and add it to your wardrobe.

If you're torn between what to wear on your night out, or if the dress code is a little wishy-washy; turn to Miss Selfridge for their cute faux-1920s bow dress. The pearl lined netting and the chic pearl bow offers both sophistication and simplicity to cover all dress codes.

But if you want a real sense of glamour and you want to make a statement over the festive period, an all red dress is surely the way to go.

Tight and loose dresses both show different approaches to the same glamorous end. Both will give you a fabulous glam factor if you're hitting the town over Christmas; just make sure you don't spill any of your mulled wine down these beautiful outfits!
